As I live & work in Leicestershire it feels like Santa has come early Great performance. Confident from the start. Passing to feet. Battling and keeping possession all over the pitch. Really good team effort. Wilf outstanding again. Benteke scores. Jules really comfortable. Sensible and timely substitutions. I might go to work now after the bollocks I got last week Thank you Roy and the team

What a transformation and what a great team performance! We walked all over Leicester and it could have been a rout. We must do the same against Swansea.

I used to really enjoy "just back from the game" threads. They were a much-needed perspective on the game - that you don't get from watching the telly. Although these days a games are on a stream somewhere. Must have been a laugh yesterday

Loved getting a sense of what the day was like, as an Aussie supporter.

With streams readily available and immediate highlights on Twitter and the like, that perspective from someone live at the match providing invaluable insight doesn't seem as necessary anymore unfortunately.

I don't think enough people on here realise how much talent there is in this team. Its only because De Boer totally messed us up in the first 5 games which if we played those games now we would probably get at least 8 points. As it was we got nothing

As another at the game the atmosphere was great. The King Power is a nice stadium and pretty easily walked to from the city centre. I suspect that I may have not been alone in thinking that it would be a tough game for us given how Leicester had been playing. How wrong I was. The Eagles were a joy to watch and apart from a few scares dominated/controlled the game. It's always interesting to hear other team's supporters talking around you on the way to the game (I go incognito) and they were in no way over confident that they would beat us. Seems that they know their team. After the game I heard quite a few 'How can we play like that during the week (Southampton) and like this today' comments.

Luke was suspended for this game but presumably would have started otherwise. Perhaps without him we were able to play a more expansive system and should consider keeping the same starting eleven for Swansea?

Enjoy just back from the game and player rating. Always paints an interesting picture of someone's journey and opinion. My journey was 10 minutes drive from my Mums at 11.30pm. I'd give MacArthur a ten for this game. Didn't put a foot wrong. I'd give this team performance a 8.5.
So I manage a Workshop which provides a safe learning environment for blokes struggling with PTSD and other mental health issues. Being a Palace fan isn't listed yet. |

Great memories of Just Back threads and waiting in the computer lab at uni in California for CP-FRIS emails. Also, great memories from watching live in HD at 5:30am on Saturday!
