If anyone is compiling a shortlist, this gets my vote for the most ridiculous thread of 2017. I do despair of our fans sometimes.

Desperation is thinking there would be any
Chance of a big club not coming in for him.If he goes it's because he wants to.
Not because most fans are realists.

Apologies if I’ve caused offence, but speculating on which of our rivals we would actually like our talismanic player to be transferred to (when he’s shown no sign of wishing to leave) is the epitome of a loser’s mentality. Can you imagine Liverpool, Chelsea or Man Utd fans starting a similar thread? Small time thinking like this will only encourage people to think of us as a small time club.

That's cool no offence taken.
Just that we aren't a big club YET
I can remember wrighty leaving overnight so it does happen.
Don't want wilf going but there is a chance he will.
