Pardew is an awful PL manager. I hope WBA go down just for him. Got rid of Jedinak and destroyed the team's morale and defence. He failed to have the insight to appreciate Jedi's steely captaincy and demand for cohesion. Every week with AP, I was left befuddled by his tactics and subs. Not so with Roy, who speaks with wisdom, integrity and nouse, and had no difficulty quickly seeing what many saw as our issues, and ruthlessly fixing them (dropping Hennessey, Puncheon, Speroni when he f'd-up, and laying down the law after the Bristol City fiasco). AP was weak-minded particularly in this area. AP had every reason to be successful at Newcastle given their resources - but f'd-up - as he was predicted to do here, and did, fact, end of debate. Can you imagine Roy doing a silly dance 1-0 up in the FA Cup Final against Man Utd with 10 mins to go? AP was and probably still is a silly pr1ck who thinks more of himself than he ought. I hope he goes down, and I hope Swansea go down (got rid of Gilfi etc deserve to), and I hope Brighton or Newcastle then anyone else except us go down. Edited by Headbert (23 Dec 2017 8.41am)

Another person who sees things as they really are. Couldn’t agree with you any more mate. It was almost like he came here to f*** us over but had to cover it up so that it wasn’t so obvious. But IMO Pardew is at best stealing a living... should be no where near a Premiership team. Maybe as a motivational speak he might have something short term to offer... but as a proper premiership manager? Stealing a living.

Let’s hope TH e boys can go to Wales and get the three points tonight ad give us some breathing space...4 point save the next three games will be an excellent result for us- perhaps 6 but maybe wishful thinking..... if the boys turn up like last week then we will have three in the bag.. with the Arse and Citeh to come

I thought we might get 4 points at best from the holiday period matches. Well, getting 3 at Leicester puts us ahead of my schedule already. Another 3 today would be wonderful and would mean we play the Arse and Citeh with nothing to lose.

To be fair I feel we could give Arsenal a game, especially if they don't improve defensively, they were shocking against Liverpool (who were also pretty poor at the back)!!
