When I went to see Plymouth v Palace last time I knew the train from Penzance to Plymouth would fill up with Argyle fans so I took the cowardly way out and wore my Cornish Pirates RFC fleece and hat. I don't like standing so I sat in the main stand surrounded by the oppo fans without any trouble, as long as they didn't hear my Sarf London accent that is.

I supply lots of NYC based supporters clubs. Celtic, Liverpool, Millionaros, Olympique Marseille, Norwich City Etc Etc & cannot bring myself to wear anyone elses colours. Although I did T-shirts at the last World Cup for most of the nations & wore a Costa Rica shirt..

Only as a mark of respect to someone, or as a symbol of solidarity with another club. For example, in memorial of say the Bradford city fire, it would be pretty amazing if fans up and down the country wore Bradford City colours.

But then I'd imagine if they gave the price of the shirt to a survivors charity, it'd be more practical.

At my old mans recent funeral we had asked for palace colours / shirts to be worn and had a few of my none Palace supporting mates wear Palace polo shirts which was a nice touch .
1 person took the team colour theme the wrong way and came in a Brighton shirt !! He got a bit of light hearted stick , which would of made the old man proud .

The only other occasion was many years ago on a lads holiday , a bet was made between two of my mates one spurs the other a gooner , loser had to wear the others shirt . gooner lost and i have the only photo , which i drag out regularly when he needs to be put back in his place !
