Two questions. When you say privately owned Bank of England, what do you actually mean? Who owns it in your eyes? Are you talking about gilt holders?

Second, who invented BitCoin (as far as I'm aware it's a secret) and surely someone (or some government - Russia perhaps) has some the ability to crash/flood/manipulate the market? If I had invented it I would have kept 80% of the coins myself.

1. As with every Central Bank on the planet, it's a privately owned 'institution'. Who owns it, i'm not 100% sure tbh but it certainly isn't us.
2. Satoshi Nakamoto, though who he/she/they are is open to debate. It could be anyone from a single man/woman, Alan Greenspan, the CIA or any given govt. Take your pick as nobody knows for sure.
