Bitcoin dominance is once again going up, this is usually a pretty good indicator that the alts will follow.

I might buy some more Pundi & Tron actually

Apologies if I have the wrong poster , but weren’t you asking people to chip in to help you buy a place abroad, a few months ago?
Now you are gambling on bitcoins ?

The amount of work/finance being poured into this space shows us that it's hardly a gamble tbf, it's the way forward.
Every 'new' technology suffers volatility, but with adoption and understanding this volatility decreases. Huge strides are being made behind the scenes, ie the boring bit, to improve the infrastructure. This is a massive massive task but everyday, bit by bit, we get a little closer to mainstream 'usage'.

Still a great time to buy.

Not that I have to answer to you but I will.

I've been involved with crypto for a few years now so hardly something new.
I've had a reasonable amount of success day/swing trading.

As for house
We have been approved for a mortgage, we have paid a deposit on a 5 bed house costing 75k euro in the best location we could of ever hoped for & pending any last minute disasters im driving across Europe with my worldly belongings at the end of September to get the place ready for guests in December.

I'm working on my website here
[Link]
You'll see my business logo in my profile.

For anyone that chucked me a bit of cash I was going to contact them & sort something out when the place is up & running.

As for throwing more money at crypto I didn't in the end although I don't really gives a monkeys if you believe me or not.

Also investing in crypto isn't a gamble.
Next time rather than try to shame me how about just dropping a pm my way?

I'll just say the obvious....regardless of whether cryptos are good or bad or indifferent.

Never invest money into something that you aren't prepared to lose.

*Not ''money'' bud, currency. There's a big difference.

Anyway, we have all been losing for umpteen decades already.
Due to being forced to trade with a continually devaluing 'fiat currency' and the inherent inflation associated, we are all far far poorer than those we've followed.
Crypto-currencies aim to break the centralised cartels that 1. Nobody voted for (who in their right mind would!) and 2. Continually rob us........and give the world a de-centralised financial system which will benefit every-single one of us, not just the 1%.

Still a good time to buy.

The reasons behind crypto sound good but they are load of rubbish.

People are getting rich of bitcoin not joe public but people that are just like banks so really all that has happened is money has switched to other groups who are getting rich of it plus you will find a lot of the already wealth had already jumped on crypto coin

just stick with gold that will always have value

Not really Tux.....not more than someone can afford to lose anyway.

The 'centralised cartels' run the financial system. So if this is the case, why do you think they would allow crypto currencies to take over?

Being 'de-centralised' doesn't mean they will get mainstream exposure.

The larger they get the more sidelined they will be.

The larger they get the less profitable they will be because the 'cartels' will ensure that happens. It's already happening.

If automation happens to a significant extent and the traditional job dynamic changes....that will alter society far more.....perhaps that will enable them far more.

Agree with that. The rest is just wrong.

They won't, not without a fight which is why every 'crypto' mention on MSM is always negative, never positive.

Being 'de-centralised' doesn't mean they will get mainstream exposure.

But it does mean that not one particular 'central body' (cartel) has complete control over any given currency.

The larger they get the more sidelined they will be.

The larger the crypto space becomes (through adoption) the more will see the benefits, particularly those (billion+) who are as yet 'un-banked'.

The larger they get the less profitable they will be because the 'cartels' will ensure that happens. It's already happening.

''Profit'' is only truly relative at this very early stage of this space.
After many many months of manipulation, crypto's are still here?

If automation happens to a significant extent and the traditional job dynamic changes....that will alter society far more.....perhaps that will enable them far more.

Nothing to do with any dynamic other than which particular currency we use tbh (people are already getting paid in crypto's and buying with crypto's).

Do you think BTC will dip back to 4/4.5k?
