It's seems an eternity that those on here have been criticising Benteke. We have all hoped for many moons that he would re-discover his form of old, but game on game,month on month we have barely seen the green shoots of recovery. Perhaps Benteke will double his goal tally from last season and should he achieve this grand total the Benteke threads will continue until the end of the season !

Call me nieve but he looks to be be revitalised after his injuries last season and maybe just maybe he will come good for us. Don’t give up on him just yet. I f we get rid now we could regret it COYP

From what I saw of him in the MOTD highlights he looked less stockier and as a result a little gangly when running. Thought in the past he was more stockier and hence harder to get off the ball. Don't know whether he has been told to do this but certainly has lost confidence due to this long barren spell and really does look a shade of his Villa days.
