If both Benteke and Zaha could just find the net once in a while then Ayew would instantly become an excellent false 9 he has everything you need to do it, quite frustrating isn't it because there's no reason for both Zaha and Benteke to not score more, they have enough opportunities to do so.

Heard they are gonna put tekkers on front gate with temperature check gun...probably still miss most of the time

If he manages to get connor, then that will knock him out injured for couple months

Benteke would miss and scan the club gates.

I have been a harsh critic of Benteke, however for the last three or four games and particularly last night he was excellent. He might not be scoring goals but he is making himself a damn nuisance around the pitch. I thought that when he went off last night we lacked an outlet and lost possession too easily in the Bournemouth half. We didn’t win a ball that was over chest height either.

Agreed. He won every ball in the air however no one was their to pick up the knock downs we need a Kevin Phillips type player to feed off him. Still he was a great outlet if we were under pressure just hoof it up to him.

Well played Benteke.

Some terrific clearances in defence too.

But needs an understanding relationship with a striker as you say.

I’ve been a big critic of his but I would say he had a decent game

My thoughts exactly. I was concerned when he was taken off about how we would keep the ball without him as an outlet, and so it proved. Against a better side than Bournemouth it might have cost us.

Put in a good shift. If he doesn’t score, so what? He certainly occupies the minds of defenders and won everything in the air yesterday. Shame he gets limited service in goal scoring areas

theory : there is a magnet , of negative polarity, inside the football. And an identical magnet inside the goal.

everytime Benteke hits the ball it bounces away from the goal with great enthusiasm.

Of all the problems with our football club, Benteke isn't one of the bigger ones.

We put crosses in the box, he scores. He's shown that over the last few weeks. Problem: we don't put cross in the box. We fanny around with it on the edge of the box until a flick doesn't come off.
