It's actually less onerous than that, even. We got 18 points from 12 games. So, with 19 to play, that extrapolates to 46 points. The only team we haven't yet played is Arsenal - who we get twice in the space of a few weeks - so it's not like our schedule is horribly unbalanced.

If we can average a point a game, that's 37 points which I believe will be enough for safety. The teams below us are averaging less than that for the 20 games they've played, and they will need to do better than that just to keep up. If Roy can keep us going at 1.5 points a game - the rate he's got since the bad start - we'll be uncatchable.

We don't do possession; we do defense and attack. Everything else is just wa**ing with a football.
