Sorry to hear that you have been bullied to the extent that you are thinking about leaving. My advice don't give in to the bullies!!

With respect, my thoughts are not influenced by the risible brickbats and barbs that have been hurled my way on here as I am no 'shrinking violet'. Sometimes one can conclude that one has outstayed one's welcome and perhaps HOL will be all the better for my absence.

It will certainly be a calmer, more peaceful place without you as of the six yellow cards that I have handed out since becoming a moderator four of them have been to individuals who have been unable to hold back their tempers when responding to your posts. As a final request I would be grateful if you could confine your farewell speeches to this thread only rather than announcing your forthcoming retirement in every suitable thread
