We need a new keeper, which is why we are after one in January. Nonsense. Most would accept that Speroni makes mistakes and is getting old too. But he makes fewer mistakes than WH (IMO) and it seems Roy agrees. We need a new keeper coz we only have 2 of first team quality. Hopefully we can improve on Jules.

all this bickering is tedious. 1. we love this club 2. we want the best goalkeeping options 3. Speroni it is until we find somebody better, fine, ok then. 4. i never ever want to see hennessey wearing a palace shirt in a premier league game again. 5. every player should face some serious competition for their starting place. Even a legend like speroni. Hennessey is not serious competition, as seen in a Wales shirt. and whether or not Speroni is good enough is a different day's discussion. today he is THE MAN.

"As seen in a Wales shirt" you said. Well here's a FACT for you to swallow. In the European Championships and WC qualifying Wales' record is this. P16 Goals Against 11 with 7 Clean sheets. Against top teams too in International Competitions. It proves Hennessey is not a bad keeper but his crime is to have replaced Jules and kept his place until he got injured.

Also this idea that WH has been criticised for every goal he’s conceded for eighteen months is complete fantasy.
