Yes, he sometimes is left looking when he should harass more the opposing side defender coming to get a cross in. That's something Townsend needs to settle, cause he doesn't lack the pace to do his defensive duties. If skinny players like Coutinho or Lanzini can hold their own against the likes of Yaya Toure, Townsend should keep up with Walker as well.

But instead of that, he's had a good season.

Andros is very fit and works very hard for the team. I do however get very frustrated at times with his contribution. It is not enough just to work hard he must contribute more quality performances. For example more crosses for Benteke, more shots on target, etc.

So why doesn't he play him on the left then, like sam did. He's do predictable cutting inside all the time. He needs to get to the byline and get the ball across...
