It was probably a "soft" penalty. But compared to all the "soft" free kicks City were awarded it was a foul,therefore a penalty. It's rediculous that Wilf goes under the microscope every time a penalty is given in his favour. And it's a bit rich when the likes of Michael Owen,who notoriously cheated to win penalties,starts pointing fingers.

It may or may not have been a pen, if it was it was soft, however I've seen it several times and don't think Wilf took a dive - I've seen a few! But for me it's not a case of good challenge, therefore he dived.

Somebody on another thread mentioned that AJ used to do the same, full pelt, any touch and he goes down. Not cheating, just too good for them.
