Wasn't at the match today, but MOTD did show an excellent ref decision by awarding Sako a free kick (which led to our first goal) after the ref allowed Sako a chance for advantage, before pulling it back. Just saying, credit where it's due.
Still believe Wilf has to be assaulted before a free kick is to be given for him, and sitting in holmesdale upper the foul by Sterling did look a foul.

The fact those two tackles are being discussed here and had been mentioned on telly means people do care. Get it? Linker is right, MOTD is about using limited tine to accentuate the positive.
I saw last night's MOTD where an incident concerning a player on the bench and spectators was being hi-lighted. I watch for the football and not side shows. I don't care how a manager reacts to a missed chance. The cameras leave the field of play to scan the face of a ball-boy. Not the way to go, and I think Linaker knows it.

Ain't that the truth! The more cameras around the pitch the worse the shown footage seems to get. It annoys me massively, the continues zooming around, focussing on stuff around the pitch but also on players while the game is flowing. You want to see MOVEMENT in an overview, not a close shoot up of a single player even if he has the ball. I genuinely think a lot of football game editors have been educated in the showbusiness and lack knowledge of, and love for the game.
