Everyone deserves a holiday. Especially if you’ve worked as hard as Steve Parish has throughout your life.
Who did we miss out on anyway? Silva? Pellegrini!? Bothered.

You seem to think the club fails to function if somebody has a holiday?
It's not a small company run as a one man operation, there are 2 other major shareholders and a Chief Executive to carry on running the club.
There is also a phone, which most deals are worked out with.

Such hubris often ends in disaster. Many of you on here are treating Premiership survival as a done deal. We are nowhere near safe yet. Half the season to go still.

It ain't hubris, its statistics and form coupled with the relative decline of at least 3 other teams whose futures look very bleak.

I am aware that a team our size with as thin a squad as ours is subject to shocks which could see us spiralling down the table to our doom. However, even a cautious old goat like me can see that we are more likely to survive this one than not.

The teams that are seemingly in decline have mostly sold their best players. We haven't. It's a false comparison. By rights we should be doing much better than them now and into the future. It would be a massive failure if they stay up and we don't or even if we end up below them considering.

Who's to blame for selling their best players?

Who's to blame for not selling our best players?

Hmmmm....

Is our chairman really so bad ?

Mistakes yes...

But we could be run much much worse....

How about we swap him in for an asset selling chairman instead...?
