There are some weird contractual set-ups in Spain. Didn't the Neymar transfer necessitate that the player himself is the one that has to activate any buyout clause? I seem to recall PSG had to give Neymar himself the £200m which he then paid over to the Spanish FA to enable the move. The mechanics of how (and how much) Barca got paid were pretty vague at the time.

Sounds like they're playing hard ball, can imagine this one will go down to the wire as they try to extract as much as possible as they know we want a keeper desperately..

Can imagine we'll be looking elsewhere in the meantime..

Wouldn't suprise me if we sign someone up and coming and let this run to the end of the window or June.
