Im a bit lost.. Ignoring the Jan Transfer window stuff. Have we actually signed this guy on a free for next season?

No the other ones not coming, because his nan doesnt want him to go Palace and the 1st one will come when he doesnt cost palave anything in the summer rather than now when we need him. Cause its saves us some money as we dont have any.

It was Getafe who didn’t sell - reports in Spain reckon they couldn’t get a replacement in time but have an agreement for another keeper in the summer.

What use is a GK in 6 months time ? Even if he has signed some kind of pre contract it’s pretty unenforceable and if we go down he certainly won’t come. Roy made it clear we desperately needed a GK so we wasted all our time on this ...another fiasco and are then left with didly squat....only palace .

What I don’t get is if we were going to pony up the cash to get ronnow (I don’t know how much ) then why didn’t we just buy Guaita now instead ?

Way I see it is what we wanted is: Ronnow (Probably not a lot of money), Hennersy and Speroni from now till the end of the season and then Ronnow, Guiata and then releasing one of Speroni or Hennersy in the summer when their contracts run out ready for next season.

Where is the evidence this guy has actually signed a pre-contract agreement with us? Just because some bloke on a message board posts what some Spanish football pundit has said on his You Tube channel gives us confirmation of bugger all. Nothing definite or official from the Club about the move, and until there is, then the whole thing remains an unsubstantiated rumour, leaving us with two senior goalkeepers next season, too. This goalkeeper issue has been dragging on and on without resolve. Mandanda was under contract, and should never have been allowed to leave until a replacement was signed. It’s funny, but we never seem to dither and delay when we sell, but when we want to buy, we get this... It’s Roy Hodgson I feel sorry for. A decent man working miracles. What did Parish give him? A Swede we’ve never heard of, on loan, a bargain basement Polish defender, we’ve never heard of, and an unproven, Norwegian striker from the Danish league. Oh, and no goalkeeper. If he walked, I wouldn’t blame him, but he’s a decent honourable man, and if by some miracle we stay up, then it’s Roy and his coaching staff who’ll get my thanks, and not Parish and his Sporting Director (Invisible Dougie).

Would be good if anyone could confirm a pre contract agreement. Although I'm sure nothing will come from the club for maybe legal reasons. Would be nice if something was leaked.... Anyone have any info...?
