Mods I know this is the wrong page but thought this would get more coverage!

Still haven't received my Brighton away tickets so unless they come on Monday I'm screwed.

Usually wouldn't be too fussed but with all the scrutiny with valid ID and matching names etc I'm wondering if I'll struggle getting into the ground? What should I do? Selhurst is a proper trek from me to go and pick them up too, like a serious 3 hour round trip so hoping it doesn't come to that!

sounds to me like something has gone wrong with your order, or they have been lost in the post. I ordered one ticket at the phase one stage which cam in the post the next day (that has never happened to me before) and I ordered a second ticket a week later and that arrived within two or three days. Did you actually get a confirmation of purchase ?

has resisted writing a single post on the Ross McCormack thread !!!

And even if they come sometime on Monday, my guess is that will still cause you massive ball-ache.
Call the CPFC Box Office on Monday (first thing) and get replacement tickets sent to the Mansex. My guess is that would be the easiest option for you.

Alternatively, take a knife and a knuckle-duster and storm the turnstiles 15 minutes after kick-off, which according to Sussex Police, was what happened last time. (then they retracted the allegation)

Phone box office & get duplicates to pick up at Amex box office.
You could go to CPFC box office on the way to the game but check with them first as they usually return any unsold tickets 24 hours before the match.

As tickets are being issued from Brighton Box Office, you will need to contact CPFC Box Office, for collection of a duplicate from the Main Brighton Box
Office. You are not alone - please see text of e-mail to Liam who cares for us Palace supporters.

To: Liam Connery <Liam.Connery@cpfc.co.uk>
Subject: Brighton Match

Hi Liam,

Thinking I would not need it again, I have deleted the e-mail I received from the Palace Ticketing Manager when his Team helped me – sorry.

As my ticket only came today – text to friend below – I am giving you an opportunity to alert all to the ticket delivery concerns I had. It may be that some tickets will fail to be delivered in time.

Best wishes,

John

========== forward of e-mail to friend ======
“You cannot go to the match; oh, yes you can!

Having seen a nice young lady in the Selhurst Park Box Office just before 13:00 (when they close) today, I am on the collections – from the Brighton Main Box Office – list. However, when I arrived home the ticket (posted out First Class on 27th December – first posting day after the 22nd December purchase date –) had been delivered by Royal Mail.

See you at the Amex. My seat is in South Stand – Area S1E.

Cheers”

===========

You have Liam's e-mail address above and can write to him today - perhaps forwarding your ticket purchase receipt.
