If I were a player I'd be checking every forum obsessively, but footballers are a strange breed and I suspect they don't much care - especially when there are actual news outlets reporting on them all the time, and fans are telling them what they think of them directly on social media.

Those people slating Joel Ward should remember that it was not so long ago we were striving to stay in this division with Dean Austin at full back. The squad in general is superior now, and JW is recently much improved. And no, I'm not JW's dad....

JW has earned his shirt and position, IMO there is only one bad egg in the team and he needs to go... Will let you fill in the gaps..as it hurts to say/spell his name: B_ _ T_ _ E
