This is a piece on his playing style, and he obviously a player with great potential, but Hodgson is sure to want a striker who can hit the ground running, and Iheanaco looks like he has a Lot of learning to do. I don’t see this one as a runner (famous last words etc!) [/

Guarantee this guy is way out of our wage structure. Leicester paid top dollar for his services as everybody was looking at him. Unless he is on a 3 month contract no team in the bottom half will be able to afford his wages, us included. Can't see him going anywhere this window.

Good read thanks Peter.

He's definitely a goal scorer.. and can also play out wide or as an AM.

Personally I think he's the type of striker we're crying out for. Yes he's probably over budget but cricky I recon he'd be a good buy.

Not sure how people can say we need a striker who's gonna hit the ground running and not think this guy could. Have lite the place up for city. You don't break in to the city team even a couple of years ago unless you've got it.

If I was Parish I'd be doing literally everything I could to get this kid.

I'd probably even swap Townsend for him...

Leicester have shown interest in him right?

Then spend the limited money we had for a striker on a Townsend replacement....

Im not knocking Townsend and don't want him to leave but

Good comments - just to say that Townsend is out injured after the Brighton match, so not really available for a move in January

Don't think thats true. Most Premier League clubs could afford him, us included. Whether they will or not is another matter. I would imagine Wilf and Benteke are on higher wages. We do pay well apparently.

I'm imagining his wages is why Leicester maybe want to move him on. But with us he'd be a first team starter so would justify his wages unless he's suddenly turned in to a bad player (doubtful)

He has made 12 apps for Leicester this season in all competitions and I believe most have been from the bench.
He has scored 1 goal for them.
I believe they paid £25 Mill for him.

Will take a massive fee plus he's on 115k at leicester. This is the sort of player to avoid.

Why would it be wages when he was only signed less than 6 months ago.?
Some Marquee signing he has been.
He won’t go anywhere and needs to work hard and get in the first 11.

I think 115k wages to be a potential backup for benteke is too much myself. i like him though and obviously wouldn't complain too much if we did dig deep.

Kelechi Iheanachi is left footed. He is still young and could definitely make a career as a side midfielder.
He's not only a striker. If you will, he is pretty much a younger, better, faster Sakho (left footed winger or striker).

The cost would be extreme though. He has just scored 2 yesterday, I saw the match. I don't think they want to sell.
