if you don't agree with the way this site is run, contact the Palace team who have constructed it and spent many years and a lot of hard work keeping it alive and functional. They would, I am sure, be happy to suggest how to start your own site which could be run in exactly the way you want. All you need to do is have expertise, patience, investment, tolerance for idiots and many other attributes. No problem at all?

The site hasn’t been the same since davemeeking left. Anyone remember him? In all seriousness why on Earth was Nick banned? If him and legal are not on these boards anymore I’m not sure I can be bothered to open up any vaguely political thread. The posts are surely just gonna be a right wing Brexit w*nkfest now.

Fair enough, but the same criticism could be made about the BBS boards from the perspective of the right. I think most of us are in favour of left wing voices having their say and we do have them....I'm sure in time more will come. Also, it's a bit of a stretch to suggest that voices on the right or left agree about things to the extent that it's some kind of permanent circle jerk........I agree that the balance shifts to a less polarized extent but this can be over stated.

I have prepared one of my own time capsules. I have placed some rather large samples of dynamite, gunpowder and nitroglycerin. My time capsule is set to go off in the year 3000. It will show them what we are really like. |

Very true the owners of the site can run it how they like and that is why a few posters have gone to BBS

If you think it is right to ‘hunt in packs’ then, respectfully, the BBS might be better for you. If you can make a point and explain your position, you are fine here. Whilst I am on the right of the spectrum, I don’t agree with all the other right wingers say on here and they don’t agree with me on everything. This place should be about a free exchange of ideas and now is the perfect time for us to do this, as not all threads will degenerate into the conversation abyss they have been for some time. I hope you stay and contribute to our site. Also, for the record, the left can create a Brexit w***fest of their own. Brexit w***fests are not solely the preserve of one side of the spectrum. Go on Twitter and read Alastair Campbell’s enlightened tweets.
