Does anyone know if investment in upgrading the clubs stadium is excluded as a cost to the business, in respect of the FFP rules?

Amortisation at the bottom is a key part of the article. If you buy a player for £5mil and he's on a 5 year deal, he's a £1 mil per annum cost. Sell him after 3 years and there's still a £2 mil cost in the accounts so it's effectively a £3 mil profit. Yes, that way round folks, not £2 mil profit. How about make it really fair and put the same spending limit on all clubs, regardless of income.

Shows how much I know. I was always under the impression that it was basically brought around to stop clubs like City buying their way to the top, as opposed to clubs like Pourtsmouth spending themselves into oblivion.

Incidentally some of our top 6 would finish lower down that league with Real, Barca, Bayern and possibly PSG above them and 1 or 2 may not be in it.
