Plays for Swansea, after joining last January from PSV for 4,5 million. Hardly used by them, reasons can't be understood, especially with their attacking player doing very bad and them in the last league position.

I thought about him as an alternative to 10 million bid for Matt Phillips. Both are the same age, 27.
Now what have they done in football? Narsingh was a few years back regarded as one of the best Dutch wingers, champion with PSV. Granted, at the rate they're scoring and assisting in the Eredivisie, I won't use any of his goals and assists there as measurement.
Let's only take what he has done in the PL for Swansea: 1 goal and 4 assists in 900 minutes of gametime. 700 minutes in the Champions League with 2 goals just 2 years ago, so I'll add that. International matches are top level so I add 4 goals and 4 assists in 950 for the Netherlands national team (before you say the opponents were weak, the goals and assists came against Belgium, England, Turkey, Poland and Romania).

That's a total of 7 goals and 8 assists (15) in 2550 minutes at high level.

Matt Phillips has 8 goals and 18 assists (26 total) in 5000 minutes in the Premier League in the last 3 years.

Let's say the numbers are somewhat similar.

But what have they done except the Premier League?

Narsingh in the Eredivisie: 21 goals and 23 assists (44 total) in the last 7400 minutes

Matt Phillips in the Championship , FA Cup and League Cup: 17 goals and 13 assists (30) in the last 8200 minutes

I see quite a big difference right there. I don't think that if you put Matt Phillips in that PSV team he could provide 44 goals and assists in the Eredivisie.
Narsingh on the other hand, is more than likely to have been just as efficient in the Championship, as examples of less known players like Kachunga or Ivan Cavaleiro coming in and doing good.

Swansea doesn't use him at all so they'd probably just want their money back (4,5 million). Considering that Palace is a relegation rival, maybe they'll ask for 6 million. Still a small sum for a player like Narsingh.

I think he could even be good enough to replace Zaha if he will leave in the summer. He certainly will be a low risk investment. Most likely, a player of another caliber would be needed to replace Zaha (Quincy Promes, Depay, Pione Sisto, Michail Antonio, Ivan Cavaleiro, Patrick Hermann, Vicenzo Grifo, Bruma come to mind as being similar), but Narsingh is so undervalued at Swansea that he's not even valued at half the fees these other players are valued at.

Like I said in the title, it's just a suggestion. Feel free to opinate on it, criticize me, but please do it in an orderly fashioned way

not a bad shout, I'm not sure we'll get around to signing a winger though, 2 strikers a centerback and a gk will be the priority and realistically I cant see us signing that many players in January.
