It means "ruined by working with a s*** manager for too long", and is a term that was coined by the Toon when Pardew was with them. Many of their, and our, players turned to s***e when managed by Pardew, losing their focus, fitness and confidence, and only recovered after someone competent had worked with them for many weeks or months. The only Palace player that materially improved under Pardew was Zaha. Puncheon OTOH was f**ed up from the cup final until the other week when he did his ACL. Frank de Boer had the same effect but worked his magic much more quickly. Ward, Kelly and Milivojevic were all pardewed before the season started. Benteke was fine last season but from the start of this season has gone to pot and has still not been fixed, but I don't know what, if anything, de Boer did to him. Van Aanholt also went to pot under de Boer but is now playing well again. Compare those squad development performances with Hodgson's. As I say I don't know what has been done to Tekers but if Hodgson can fix that then he's a genius.

We lost yesterday and another keeper would not have made us win or draw.
