The truth is the defence has massively improved, so the Hennessey’s not as exposed as he was. He hasn’t suddenly turned into a world beater, but he wasn’t actually that bad when he had a shambles of a defence in front of him either.

Ultimately we would like to have better players in all positions. But each player can only be judged on their own merit.

congrats to wayne...a decent PL goalkeeper getting the recognition he deserves for his performances. hopefully will shut up the guys with an agenda who dont know what they are talking about when they slate him at an given oppotunity. if only he had a south american name im sure he woudl be more popular
