Parish has done his Gordon Brown impression citing prudence quite a few times in the past but not recently. My guess is that people have looked at the club's historic accounts and added up one and one to make three

He literally said Palace have no money. Read into it what you will, but as far as I'm aware he's about as ITK as you'll get when it comes to Palace affairs.

Don’t I recall at the end of the season SP saying the transfer budget for this summer has been ring fenced? CPFC may not be rolling in it but neither are they massively in debt toowners like a lot of other EPL clubs.

Red Bull Leipzig are making an improved £18m bid for Everton winger Ademola Lookman. Boro's Adama Traore has an 18 million release clause too and they won't take any les. Kind of expensive both of them, it's vecause of the young age. Check out my thread of best transfer solutions this summer to see cheaper options (up to 5 million) who would offer the same or more as Lookman and Traore and some are close to their age as well.
