Why do we need another left back i think that's the last place we need buy at the moment.

Why do we need another left back i think that's the last place we need buy at the moment. We only have PVA as left back, due to Schlupps long term injury, and PVA is suspect defensively whilst this guy seems very solid . Also Everton were rumoured to be interested in buying PVA

We have PVA (who is going nowhere in this window),Pape and Riedewald all are left backs or have played that position, Schlupp to come back we hope before the end of the season. we badly need other positions filled before another left back.

This one makes no sense to me. Granted Soure needs game time to get back to full fitness as part of his rehabilitation so a move to Newcastle makes sense for us. But to do this and pay 15 mill for Masina is bonkers as by the summer we will have 4 Left Backs! Surely Soure goes on loan with an option to recall so we have cover for PVA.

Maybe the advice is that Souare is finished at this level? Jairo will be used in midfield, so that leaves us with PVA and an injured Schlupp. Not such a crazy move under those circumstances?

I agree with you Mr G, plus it may be that Everton will come knocking for PVA, and some players will have to leave to make space for the newcomers
