I saw this film with alaneagle1 when it came out back in 1968. After it had finished the pair of said 'WTF was that about?'

It's ok, yes. But enormously overrated.

Long time since I've seen it, but I didn't think The Sixth Sense was all that. Saw the end coming a mile off.

Although I thought it started off very well, I didn't like La La Land much either. That City of Stars theme drove me up the wall.

I would probably have added Mamma Mia! to the list too, but I have no intention of ever seeing it even once.

There was a similar thread on here some years ago, and my list at the time included Annie Hall and Midnight Cowboy (both of which won an Oscar for Best Picture). Annie Hall has some great moments in it though so I wouldn't say it was that bad now, but I've still never understood the appeal of Midnight Cowboy.

It's all subjective though, and I'm sure many people love these films and think they're absolute classics - as much as I do Singin' in the Rain, Star Wars and The Shawshank Redemption!

Les Miserables (Russell Crowe & Hugh Jackman) was absolute torture . Also, The Hurt Locker, winner of The Academy award for best picture a while back, has to be one of the most over rated. Billed as “the best war movie of all time”, its constant filming through gaps in chairs, cracks in doors or with other objects partially obscuring your view (as if you’re spying on the action). I thought it was a steaming pile of s***e.

What do I know though? Gary Oldman, The Usual Suspects, Seven, Blade Runner, Shawshank Redemption & the Star Wars films have all been mentioned on this thread as dislikes.
