The lost City of Z. Saw it the other day and i was a bit underwhelmed.

Seems that all the critics raved about it but the public didn't agree.

Other films i thought were overated include Deerhunter, Blade Runner, Son of Rambow and most Coen films.

I'm not sure that others have actually raved over most Coen Brothers films. Some of the earlier ones like Fargo, Oh Brother and The Big Lebowski were brilliant (in my opinion) but the later ones lacked the originality and humour of the earlier works

Perhaps it's cos I have to listen to my Father banging on bout how great they are.

I've enjoyed Tarrantino films but never thought they were as great as people said.
Love the soundtracks though. It own them on cd but not the films themselves.

Everything after Pulp Fiction and Reservoir dogs is completely boring, especially all that Kill Bill crap

There are a number of film producers / directors who peaked early and then couldn't sustain the quality.

I agree with you about Tarantino peaking with Pulp Fiction and then there is Robert Rodriguez and M Night Shyamalan to add a couple more who made some great early films but couldn't match them later on

And he compounded it by adding Airplane!

Two of the finest comedies.
