So let me get this straight: Batshuayi, who is young and everyone says has a lot of energy and runs a lot, is not doing his job, but Benteke, who sits back and has fans frustrated with his lack of commitment and pressing is just following orders from Roy to close spaces and not tire himself up?

And I'm the one with half a brain?

I guess Ben is keeping himself fresh to bag in all those goals

He has turned us down once and is not performing for Chelsea - move on.

So did Bamford (another Chelsea forward) & I don’t think there’s a Palace or Chelsea fan alive that thinks he’s any good in the EPL. We are a better side with Benteke in it despite the lack of goals as we need an outlet in the way we currently play.

Perhaps you should actually go and watch a few games to get your head round how being an effective part of a team is more important than individual performance? In fact, a mate has a spare ticket for the CFC v NUFC match tomorrow- you could watch the game & get the fans perspective on Batshuayi.

Will this be five? It's gonna be five! It IS five!

Yes. It's not all about scoring goals, it's a team game.
Yes I think you are.

In my humble opinion, striker Florin Andone of Deportivo could be a useful signing for us.

Think the same about Salomon Rondon but I doubt if WBA would sell him to us, or indeed to anyone in this 'Window'.

He just scored his 6th goal of the season a few hours ago. With the situation they're in and with him being the top goalscorer of the team, it's not going to happen anymore.

There was an entire window in which he could have been bought. He was upset, the manager didn't play him, he only had like 2 goals on January 1st. They rejected an 11 million bid from Brighton because they were holding out for the same 13 million bid they had had in the summer. It could have happened for 13-14 million.

Like Nils Petersen could have happen if acted in the proper moment. He has just scored, again, this time against Borussia Dortmund (TWICE on Borussia Park). A goal against Dortmund skyrockets your sell price. What would have been so difficult in paying 7 million for Petersen on January 1st? Didn't everyone see that he had been scoring regularly for 5-6 years and will continue to do so?

Andone is class, I’ve seen him play a few times, he would be ideal up top with benteke.

Well I’d be happy, but I don’t believe it.

A story about betting odds, not a real story.

We should sign Giroud and Aubemayang whilst we are at it.
