I wholeheartedly endorse these sentiments.

I am somewhat agog at some of the comments on here in favour of selling Tomkins given our defensive injuries.I cannot see any justification for this whatsoever.

Selling Tomkins in January? Don't make me laugh. Unfortunately he's injury-prone, but the way JT is playing at the moment should send him to Russia come summer. Back to Spammers, you dream! Just crossing fingers he keeps fit. With him, Kelly, the Polish JJ and Sakho we're solid enough in central defence...only wish the Spanish goalie is to be seen with an Eagle shirt before window close on Wednesday...

Selling Tomkins in January? Don't make me laugh. Unfortunately he's injury-prone, but the way JT is playing at the moment should send him to Russia come summer. Back to Spammers, you dream! As in Trevor "International Prat" Francis selling USA international Gregg Berhalter without cover at CB? Times have changed. For one thing, Berhalter is now head coach of Columbus Crew. For another, TF hasn't been a manager for a long time.
