Its a funny old game as Jimmy Graves said. Back in September the pundits all praised West Brom for having a great summer transfer window and I bought into that. I must admit to being jealous that they had brought in good players and did a lot of their business early. With West Brom going down I wonder how many of those so called experts will hold their hands up. I must admit it is a bit of a mystery why the baggies have been so bad.

WBA appointed a manager in Pardew who had only won 15 of his previous 55 PL games. That said he has got promotions abd FA Cup final appearances on his CV.The peaks and troughs of football management with sometimes extenuating circumstances being a factor.

They ended last season with their feet up having got to 40 so soon. We had a similar problem with Pardew's full season ending so badly and then the core attributes needed in a bottom half team evaporated. You can't afford to be anything other than 100% focused and drilled or any team will tear you apart and when the blueprint is public knowledge, you're fecked. Or they just picked the obviously worst manager on the merry go round and if Pardew was the only choice, don't sack Pulis, yet, until the summer maybe. Idiots running the club.
