If I was the lad's agent I would be all over the press planting rumours of interest from the likes of PL teams and Real Madrid. His stock is high due to the number of goals he's scored so it wouldn't surprise me if this is being fabricated by someone. If I'd never seen him play I would look at his physical attributes and goals scored and think, yep, should check him out. Gnabry showing again last night that clubs make bad calls, but I didn't see anything to suggest Sorloth is a world beater. It is funny how this turned from fans being furious that we signed him, to fans surprised and elated that we might get as much as £6m for him, to fans furious that he might end up going for as little as £6m. Next part of the saga is he comes back to the club, is useless and everyone is furious we couldn't sell him!

All clubs make mistakes in the transfer market. Man U had Paul Pogba on their books from 2009, lost him to Juventos in 2012 for nothing and bought him in 2016 for £90 million. Now that's what I call an expensive mistake. If (and it is still a big if) Sorloth turns out to be a world class striker then Palace will indeed have made a big mistake. But how many of us who saw him in a Palace shirt would have seen that coming? Not me. Hindsight is a wonderful thing.

He looked absolutely awful playing for Palace but Hodgson did the lad no favors whatsoever with his sporadic usage. Could care less about what I said about Sorloth before Turkey, he is now a completely different animal. In case you dont understand football, its all about confidence.

Ever notice how Ayew is a bit better this season than last? Who cares what Sorloth was then, wake up and understand what he is now - a striker on form scoring for fun, and we are starting Benteke. It matters not a jot whether he is scoring for fun or not as he is not our player. He is on loan with an option to purchase at a fixed price. There is no return clause unless of course they wish to return him. So all that will happen is that they buy him from us at a figure that has been mooted at around 6m Euro and sell him at a massive profit. There is nothing that can be done about it.
