I've not heard of any 'Option to buy' in respect of Rakip but that is not to say there isn't one.I don't get regular alerts on my phone with every detail of every move!!!! Looking at the 'Window' as a whole what is clear is that we spent less money than we were prepared to spend.

I read somewhere that Rakip had 10 million £ buy-out clause in his new contract with Benfica. Which I guess could be acted upon in the summer if required.

not a bad window to be fair, defender/midfielder/striker for less than we paid for schlupp this time last year, 2 perm signings young with potential sell on value. all good really. one thing is for sure, that woy will have very good links to the scandinavian market (not iceland) and he will have done his homework.

This time last year PVA, Schlupp, Luka and the Beast on loan. If any of the 3 in this time can reach the heights of Luka or the Beast then they will of done really well.

They have a surplus of midfielders right now so this is a stopgap solution. I think they are planning to sell at least one of Pizzi or Lubo Fejsa come the summer window and are restocking the midfield cuboard now. Always planning a window or two ahead...imagine that.
