Without both Zaha and Sako, we are pretty much f****d. Even with Zaha healthy, we were in danger of going down, now he's gone too. We have no one else who can score or even pressure the other team. Benteke is a sad joke, has been beyond useless all year. Townsend is a marginal player even with Zaha/Sako in the lineup. Who else is there? Hopefully Sorloth will become our leading scorer I guess. Sorry to be negative, but this feels like the final nail in our coffin. And all of this assumes Zaha will be back on time, which he may not be. Worst possible news we could ever have.

I’d say half the squad perishing in a plane crash or the stadium burning down would be worse news. Keep breathing and don’t panic til it’s time to panic and even then, the world will keep spinning on its axis.

If we could manage to get 4 points from the next four games, then it would leave us on 31 points with 8 games left, of which only one of those is against one of the big six clubs (and even that is Liverpool at home). No doubt that Zaha will be a big miss, but a bit like when Bentenke was out, sometimes it makes you think outside the box and you can sneak a few results. For all the negativity of some, it should be worth remembering that we've only lost 2 games out of 14 despite half our defence being injured. I don't think we're going to get results playing great football, but I'm not going to worry about that for the next four games.

Worst possible news we could ever have. get a grip of yourself man and slap yourself around the face. Zaha is our talisman but he's missed absolute sitters recently. Townsend made our last goal and Benteke scored it. I trust Roy to get a formation that works.
