Why will Roy walk, we were the only club to give him a chance after the England debacle. He is now getting positive press, instead of ridicule.

That's all well and good, but do you not think we've underperformed consistently ever since Dec 2015, with the bounce then flounce from Sam apart?

Given the squad we have it seems clear that the mistakes that have been made by the ownership have continually held us back. Not sacking Pardew earlier very nearly took us down, also backing him to rebuild and 'evolve the playing side' or whatever bollocks catchprase they used was a massive waste of an opportunity, as it nearly dismantled what got us up here in the first place. Then the failure to keep on to Sam (and IMHO it's clear as day he thought we weren't a good long term proposition and was always coming back to the game), the disaster of the summer with De Boer, then failing to back him in the window, the massive, ridiculous gamble with having one striker on the books, the sun coming up, two keepers at the club over two conseqtive T/windows, no cover for the wingers...

I appreciate under Parish we got promotion, and have stayed there, but it's been far more down to luck than judgement in recent years, and that cannot last. He keeps repeating the same mistakes over and over, yet seems to get more arrogant and flippant about the potentialities of them going tits up.

I fully expect Roy to walk this summer, giving Parish his hat trick of capable managers that walk out on him after one season.
