However you want to dress it up the whole Woy thing is derogatory and insulting to Roy. I'm sure theres plenty of people who have no intention of insulting Roy but this does not make it ok. PC gone made maybe but its still marginalising him because of a defect or supposed physical weakness.

We have had an entire thread on this some time ago and as a result of that I am pleased to see that it is only the dim few who now chose to use the derogatory name of Woy, so to me things have changed for the better.

If you think its funny and shows affection all you have to do is ask yourself one question. If you were introduced to Roy in person would you go up to him and say, "hello Woy, hows it going?" No you wouldn't would you and if you did then you are an arse, so please don't anyone say it is a term of affection, it clearly isn't.
