I see it the other way, it's pretty good going that so quickly we have one new signing starting and one on the bench, considering they didn't join from a Premier League club. If we were comfortably above mid-table, with good squad depth, we could afford to start taking some chances, but we're none of those.

So much negativity on here and the match hasn't even started yet. Btw Everton spent £28 million on Tosun and he is on the bench today along with £25 million Bolassie. Edited by PZ Eagle (10 Feb 2018 2.36pm)

Sakho’s absence is just for this game supposedly, and it’s precautionary. Obviously a big loss for this game still but he’ll be back. His absence record this season is pretty shocking though. The first XI doesn’t look that bad. I think the bench is very ‘meh’ but if we don’t find ourselves chasing the game, that bench could help to close it out. We’ll see. I am not expecting anything from this game - because of our injuries - so I would be very pleased with a draw. COYP
