same things being repeated over and over again, not one person who complains about parish has come up with a alternative or put there millions into the club to buy him out.
Parish is no different to any other chairman balancing the books is a must, we are starting work hopefully on new stand that is a must, and tidying up other parts of the ground and training ground.
Parish is not a footballer we can sell on and replace, he would cost alot more to replace,so unless you can think of someone to take over, stop complaining about him, because if the yanks didnt rate him he would have been gone by now

We have.

Listen to football people who know and appreciate that starting a season with 1 striker is negligent lunacy. The whole world thinks it is, unless they're all wrong and the sun will always rise tomorrow is the answer to that lot.

Listen to the manager when he has huge concerns over things like 1 keeper.

Actually take on what the football people are saying rather than listen and let your own business approach discard what the sport on the pitch requires.

Maybe overturn any American choices to sign high transfer fee players and maybe scout a bit more when we've been aware of the position for 9,12, 15 months. This is possibly happening now.

I think you'll find many of us providing constructive criticism have been supporting for a long time and it's because we know how precious prem status is. We know we're not as likely to bounce back and our stay back in the championship could be a decade. What happens to the new stand then? What happens if it is built and we're running at a loss? It's the Americans' loss until we bounce back but these things are taken a bit lightly when such things as a 2nd striker and lack of keeper back up are easily excused, and being repeated mistakes.

Just respect football people who are presumably respected when hired.

no you haven't Parish is the issue with the ones who complain, you want parish out but cant say who will take his place, we all all know what we want but we are not the ones funding it,

so who is going to change things to everyone that complains ,none of yous have come up with a name,as i said he is not a player we can sell,he helps to bank roll the club, we dont see the books, we dont see whats going on behind the scenes,so its blind judgement, you dont have a full picture so unless you can prove different and i mean with real proof, not my neighbors aunt uncle best mate said,

yes i would like to see us signing everyone i want, but real world we cant, We are a big club in the waiting but need major money to get up there, so ground improvements is a major start getting a manager in we wont sack tomorrow or leave because we cant fund what they want or fans who cant wait to see them improve the team because they dont like them,

i think i have covered most things have headache now, but if anyone can come up with better ways to fund the club, sure parish&co would be interested along with the rest of us

I agree on the striker situation Rudy, unsure about the keeprs as for all I know Henry may be ready for PL action. What is the point of any youth develepmont if beforehand we exclude the option of actually playing them?

And how do we know it's SP that made all the cock ups? How are we to know if SA's, FdB and Roy's "lists" of players wanted were realistic and achievable? Is it SP's fault that noone in the whole club structure seems able to scout a decent lower League or lesser know international player? I feel there is a lot of assumption in asiging the blame. Having said that I felt the squad was thin when the season started and surely is not better after the window so I get people's frustration. It's just that I feel it's only partly SP's fault, and I see little proof he is actually pulling all the strings on "football matters".

He can and will progress us. Anyone who is currently questioning and doubting him will also be claiming the earth is flat and should be ignored at all costs.

No I do not want Parish 'out.' In your headached head I do. The transfers need addressing. He's a major shareholder anyway. Transfers transfers transfers transfers transfers.

'Sign everyone we want.' More extreme nonsense. Just a 2nd striker we were aware of for 9 months. Same for the keeper and any others.

It is quite astounding the amount of yes-men proclaiming Parish's innocence in this season's debacle. If we get relegated, although part of the blame will fall on the players and management staff, the brunt of it will fall on SP's shoulders. Prior to the start of the season many neutral would have tipped us for 9th-13th placed finish. Instead what has followed is poor Summer recruitment, an embarrassing January transfer window, and to not to forget a lack of addressing academy issues whilst using the 'new stadium' as a smokescreen.

I think that the argument is slightly more nuanced than that. The question is whether he is the man to take us forward, not whether he has made mistakes. He has made plenty, show mw a chairman that hasn't.

As you say, many would tip us to finish 9-13th (which is interesting given the criticism of our transfer windows). We are currently 15th, 4 points of 10th, not exactly off target.

Five points between 10th and relegation places. Teams down there include Stoke, 10 yrs in the Prem,Swansea 7 yrs and West Brom 8 yrs. Two of those teams have recently been taken over. Huw Jenkins was viewed as the model chairman. Also in a current relegation place are Southampton. The club everyone should mimic, the cub that is the template for PL success. Apparently

Any sane football person would make a lot of noise leading up to the start of the season with 1 striker. I include freedman here...

Or in January, again with 2 keepers ready to become 1. Sounds like the spice girls. 'When 2 become 1.' I include Roy here as well.

No sane football man would let through if they had a big say. Not a chance.

Maybe there’s a reason why he hasn’t gone out and signed the players we needed. Maybe the fact that he hasn’t asset stripped and had the amount of money needed to sign the players we need and still remain compliant to FFP is why we can’t go out and spunk willy nilly.
Who would sanction the selling of Wilf without a massive ho ha to buy the players we need? What would Parish be called on here if he did that?

I'd wager the clubs we're surprised at down there don't make the same mistakes in the very near future and it's a short stay down there. If any do go down they're hardly in a bad position to make a proper fist of bouncing back. Us needing to sell the whole front line and spine of the team will be in a bad position to bounce back.

We concede 3/4-7 games a season, chop one leg off and the head and rely on 3 teams being more ultra sh1t than we've prepared to be.

Hopefully the transfer window closing before the first match prevents a lot of this. Something Parish voted against.

The money was there to sign the striker and keeper in August but it was left too late. It was again there to sign the Ronnow keeper it again it was left too late. Wasn't it £2 mil for the Ronnow guy who is presumably planned as back up to Guaita?

Try reading all the posts in this thread.

I will say again, for the fifth time: Parish could bring someone new in, or give the following job to someone already at the club/associated with the club:

Someone to run transfers, managerial hiring and firing, and manage our managers.

Parish has failed spectacularly in all of these areas several times, and shows no sign of learning from his countless and costly mistakes.

The yanks are clueless on matters of "soccer" so wouldnt know where to begin on getting someone to replace Parish, if they actually had the power to do so, which they dont as I understand it.

The only person with the power to move Parish out of running certain areas of this football club, is Parish.

Also before making assumptions about the yanks go read about the Philadelphia 76ers.

Trump lost. Badly. Hahahahahahaha.
