Oh boy, here we go again. Fighting for survival. The idea that just staying up is a Palace success is getting boring. A transfer window coms and goes and what do we get, one striker, who will hopefully do what the much overrated Benteke cannot do. Score goals. He misses loads and seems to want the ball put on his head instead of going for the ball. Waste of money, sell him atr the next opportunity. Hennesey? has a good game now and then but generally rubbish. Much like the defense. I believe the team in general are not as fit as they should be hense all the injuries. The one thing that Pulis did apart from keeping us up with many excellent wins, was get them all fit. I cannot see us staying up with the current remaining players. I hope I'm wrong.

Less boring than going bust and being relegated to the bottom league don't you agree?

Clearly you don't have much history to go on then. Fighting for survival is actually quite exciting and our current situation is a world away from most of our post war history. I am really not sure I, for one, would prefer mid table obscurity. We thrive in misadventure and challenge. I would never want us to have a feeling of entitlement.

Maybe best that you stick to the rugby if you think Palace are boring.

Would be nice to not chuck 3/4-7 games away every season that puts us down there wouldn't it? Maybe the transfer window closing before the first league match, something Parish obviously voted against, will help us this time.

Hopefully this keeper is good. The only thing that gives me confidence is that Roy knows him. After this season we can hopefully sort out this mess, if we survive.

His best days are gone.

The question is is he better than Henry,if yes we should sign him. In his favour he has played in the premiership,he is an international and has worked with Roy.The days he has left may well be what we need.

I foresee the usual scenario. We want the player, we faff about too long and he goes somewhere else.

No disrespect to Henry but on experience alone the answer must be YES

I reckon he gets his information from the HOL anyway, a circle of information.

Yes, it does seem so, Mapletree. And, from what have been able to gather, Rio papers focusing on Fluminense, until a day ago have only copied what The Sun put out on the subject.
