Very interesting, M.K. Dons are strange one, got to being quite successful, but now seem to be fighting to stay in their league, where as AFG Wimbledon have gone from strength to strength and look like overtaking the Dons

AFC Wimbledon are just one place above the MK Dons in the table and both are in the relegation zone.AFC finished 15th last season so their direction of travel isn't positive as well.

In matches between the teams this season :
AFC Wimbledon 0 MK Dons 2
MK Dons 0 AFC Wimbledon 0

Surprised to see Brentford in the Championship. 12,000 capacity ground and not much of a public profile.

Eze Peasy at Anfield....

This is Brentford's 4th season in the Championship since they were promoted in season 2013/14.It was Mark Warburton who got them promoted.

Let's consider Portsmouth.

They were in the PL - Four years later, they had gone into administration twice, suffered three relegations and had seven different owners.

Today they get excellent crowds in League 1, with a number of their home attendances around 18,000.

Up: Napoli. Sitting pretty on the top of Serie A.

Down. Juve. They have usually won the league by January but this season are struggling to top Napoli and managed to blow a 2-0 home lead against the Spuds. Could be their earliest exit from the Champions league for years (from memory).

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

Sounds like they must have had a Parish type character as Chairman in the past who made appalling decisions on transfers and who dragged them down into the depths of the league through his failed guidance. Or maybe not.

i thought it was the toxic financial landslide known as Harry rednapp. From the Prem and winning the FA cup down to playing against pub teams every weekend.

Just look at Coventry.FA Cup winners in 1987, I think they were in the PL 20 years ago and look where they are now, in League 2 after relegation last season. They have had to play their 'Home' games at Northampton and although they have returned to the 'Ricoh' this is not their ground and they share it with Wasps. Attendances in general have been in the region of 6-7,000.What a fall from grace.

I hardly want to say it but Brighton have been on the rise. I can't stand them, obviously, but they have come a long way since they were emergency council tenants. Surely we can finish above them and get back the bragging rights!

Yes I understand the reluctance to comment on Brighton !

Fact remains is that they have a modern purpose built stadium capable of holding in excess of 30,000 as opposed to our somewhat dilapidated 'Selhurst Park'.I believe they have a Category 1 academy as opposed to our Category 2 and I gather their training centre in Lancing is impressive. So yes they have made progress both on and off the pitch.
