Guy at work has just said that Wayne H was involved in a freak incident in training and has ruptured his achilles.

I just posted the very same question on one of the websites that was reporting on it. My comment got deleted very quickly. All I asked was why their journalism was so s***e.

Anybody nowadays with Social Media etc.
The OP on here as an example starts a new thread.
No need for it.
News now on the bottom of Hol,then someone starts a thread on Hol within minutes we are signing Messi.
And fake news all around the world.
I preferred the old days.
Dad would wake me up and say Palace have sold “Bill Glazier” for £35K a record at the time for a Goalkeeper.You would of liked him General .
I was gutted.
But it was TRUE.

Agreed, there is no journalistic quality any more, just headlines for clicks.

Ahh, Bill Glazier, now there was a goalkeeper, never saw him at Palace but he was brilliant at Coventry, very unlucky not to be picked for full England cap, but had a bit of stiff competition as I recall. Banks, Clemence?

Heard good things from the old man about Glazier. What a fantastic name for a Palace legend as well.
As for the fake news, this one actually seemed like it had legs for a while.
