Never understand this arguement. How old were you at your first game? Lets say you were 12 and I was 7, assuming we live until the exact same age I have the potential to be a better fan? I've not had the opportunity to watch Palace since the 1960's so does that make you a better fan than me? Confusing stuff.

I don't think he was saying he is a better fan than you

The people who think possible alterations to the Holmesdale are secondary to the fact that they’ve had a season ticket in the same place for years are probably the same people who think local residents objecting to the new main stand should just f*ck off.

I can only imagine that it is something that has recently come up that has forced Palace to delay the ST renewals in the Lower Tier. It's odd that the club hasn't hinted at what the delay could be but getting wound up about it in advance isn't going to change anything.

Some of our group know people in the HF and they swear that this hasn't come from them. Obviously this wont stop people using it as a stick to beat them with though.

People in the Arthur have been moved about quite a lot over the years and I don't remember this much whining from them.

Not really the same. Lots of wriggle room and choice when you're moved to be where you want and who you want to sit with. In the championship there was acres of space. Not the same in the lower Holmesdale.

That sounds more like a fact than insinuating that he's a better fan.

We all read into things differently
I suppose

If it's not to suggest some kind of pedigree then what is the relevance lol?

Only one word is relevant enough to highlight the relevance of the situation.

Well not in my case.

And I can't object to something or have an informed opinion about something if I don't know what that something is.

And that is my point - the email they sent was dismissive and not in keeping with the culture that the club has been building.

Whatever the thoughts are it strikes me as wholly inefficient not to have details ready to announce now or better still seek customers views on reconfiguring the Holmesdale lower tier.

As a ST holder for so long I cant remember and moved to block F Holmesdale just after stand opened having moved from family area as boys got older i am dismayed at maybe having to consider my renewal based on certain segments of crowd being moved or as a result of me and my family ad large friend group seated around us being asked to move.

Let be honest I like the noise of the fanatics but if they are moved they will stand all game and i will have to as well. I pay for a seat to sit in don't mind the occasional need to leap up .As i get older maybe I wont be able to cope with that ,just Like some old folk around me that are long term fans. Certainly they could not handle 90 minutes standing

There is an element in football that don't care about others in this respect . Current arrangements work well .Fanatics to one side is a reasonable compromise.

Sadly should fanatics be moved (And I know this is just a wild rumour stage) behind the goal then its bad news for the club as what is no doubt a limited number of idiots who are rogue members or hangers on will bring bad press with their coin throwing ,odd incursions on the pitch unreasonable bating of opponent players and officials being even more tempting and in the eye of the cameras

Not with the Taylor report mate. Long way off. Years.

Club have announced that the delay was because they were looking into safe standing.
