Are we good enough to beat Huddlesfield, Brighton, West Brom and Stoke? Can we beat Leicester and Bournemouth? Could we nick anything against Liverpool or Chelsea? I think we've got a great chance to stay up... COYP!!!

Yes is the simple answer we can stay up.

The key will be team spirit. At the moment is appears to be good, the players are playing for each other and the manager, as long as that does not get derailed we will be OK.

My concern is we'll run out of time. It was when Roy signed and it still is now. He's done an excellent job btw.

Some clubs sometimes look like the season could go on for months more and they wouldn't survive but we would. The same with Newcastle, Benitez and Townsend, but then they lost at Villa who 'had nothing to play for'/ were relegated already in their penultimate match and then Sunderland beat Everton and that was that. Then there was Hull being all over Sunderland and then 2 Sunderland shots and game over. Sunderland were already relegated/ nothing to play for too.

We have games v teams with 'nothing to play for' who are better and I hope if we have to get a result v West Brom that the new manager isn't getting a reaction and they're a shambles and we go 2-0 up very very quickly.

We've a decent chance but I think it's going to be really close.

The question wasn't "can we", as obviously we can, it was "will we". Regrettably, even with the return of Zaha, I can't see us picking up enough points from the remaining games. We've sailed too close to the edge too often and this time I fear we're going over the falls, no matter how much effort we put in (Man U on Monday was proof of that). Our terrible start, our injury situation, our lack of goals, our inability to close out games and our fiddling and farting in transfer windows will finally do for us. I sincerely hope to be wrong.

Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing!

Can't argue with any of that. Logical and sadly true.

Jordan was dismissed for saying we'll be in trouble if we lose Zaha again this season and he was again correct. He may be kamikaze with finances but he has a decent clue about the sport.

With our excellent manager we've gone from missing him badly to Zaha being another fine margin, along with just anybody on the bench actually being able to not pass the ball away, give a goal away and generally throw the last hour and a half's effort and slog down the bog.

No, simple as that. Too many games have cost us, Everton and Bournemouth at home spring to mind. It would take something of a miracle to keep us up, baring in mind our dire situation.

I have to admit, I do feel for Roy and his team who gave it their absolute all, but still after months of knowing we were in trouble, were not supported in the transfer window. Then came the injuries and we're bang in trouble at the wrong time. Parish to blame for me (and a lot of others). Hopefully he puts his money where his mouth is next year to see us promoted

It'll be more a case of if many of the cost draining players leave and Parish can provide the funds from that for whoever's manager to assemble something competitive, but I share the frustration followed by hope and more frustration.

Parish presided over a truly shocking window, knowing our minimum requirements and ended up well short of Roy's stated need of 7 new players.

He signed complete unknowns ,missed out on other reported targets and is to blame if we end up in the Championship next season.

Unacceptable.

The buck stops at the stop so parish must share a huge amount of responsibility for our current predicament give the manager the right tools to do his job

I dont remember the last time we looked like a write off in a match, even the big sides look lucky to beat us. Can we win 3 and draw 1? Yeah, I think we will do it, its just a matter of which 3 games we could do it in...

Im not even writing off Chelsea as our 1st of the 3 anymore...
