I have no idea. Which is what makes watching football unpredictable and fun (sometimes).

I'll be upset if we are relegated but not that upset as we have all seen it before and if not this season then it will come eventually.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

Indeed, but the financial implications of being relegated from the PL are gargantuan, despite the 'Parachute payments'.Far bigger than in bygone days.

The OP said staying up, yes or no. I think yes, however certain posters have posted 4 times or more on this thread alone. Does it really take that long to say yes or no?

When it’s not clear cut, of course it does. I haven’t a clue right now because it depends on so many variables – when will our injured players return? Will we pick up more injuries and who will be injured? Will Benteke rediscover his goal scoring form (don’t hold your breath)? What sort of form will the teams at the bottom, including us, be in between now and the end of the season? I’m feeling a darn sight more pessimistic right now than I was after the Burnley game that’s for sure.

The desire & the fight I'm seeing makes me think we can stay up but we desperately need some quality back in the starting 11.

Apart from Benteke when there's an opportunity coming. Compare the traffic cone of Benteke to Kane. A centre forward is going to have to start scoring for us to survive.

To a degree. I'm not defending him in any way but yesterday Lewington was constantly pulling him 10-20 yards back down the pitch toward our defence. Whilst his (lack of) goal scoring is clear, his overall impact on games where he's played further up the pitch to occupy defenders & leave space for Wilf/Sako/Cabaye to come into is better.

Clearly Wilf is a big miss but I admit I never thought I'd be desperate to see Sako back on the pitch. Benteke has always been a bit one dimensional & we have succeeded in games where we've been able to offer something different up front - with or without him on the pitch.

I'd like to see Sørloth given a chance to play as a 9 but not before we can give him decent service.

Yes I think we will stay up, the bookies don't agree with the general sentiment on here and I agree with them.

Our general performances over the whole season under Roy have been very good, and assuming we get some players back from injury, we will sneak the 3 wins we need to stay up.

Everyone panicking about the tough run of games: all of the bottom 9 have at least 3 games to play against the top 6 - us and Swansea only have 1 of those away from home which is the least.

Brighton have 5 games left against the top 6, and 4 other teams have 4 left.

I'm sure if you went on any of Palace, Swansea, Stoke, Southampton forums they would all say they were going down at the moment, such is the pessimistic mature of most footie fans.

West Brom will go - they have left themselves with too much to do. They have to better at least 3 clubs results by 2 wins and a draw - they've only won 3 all season.

Stoke are in trouble - really struggling to create and have a tough run coming up. Our game at theirs could be a decider.

Swansea I personally think are the worst team in the division - have lucked their way to a few results recently, but still believe they will drop. Their next 3 games are crucial - if they don't pick up points across them their run in is very bad.

Tough question to answer.

Here is how I see it we have not picked up results against the teams around us which was very important we even looked fairly poor in those games so this doesn't bold well when we have to play a few of them in must win scenario also this run we have against the big teams we need to pick up few points draws in a few are fine but I can't see it happening the way we are currently playing.

What will be very important is if we can get mass of players fit and on the same page also Roy needs to make some tough choices regarding tactics/players he is selecting which I am not sure he is willing to take risks.

For me it is too early to say yes or no due to how tight it is down there I need to see how we perform in Huddersfield and Bournemouth games no win from both those I would say down but if we win both we will stay up even if sitter at top of relegation zone

I'm worried that our makeshift defence will get hammered by United, Chelsea, and Liverpool, leaving our goal difference the worst in the league... and given how few points separate the bottom teams...

Ask me about Ronald de Boer.

Yes.
Based on fixtures comparison, others have a worse run-in than us: Brighton, Stoke, and Newcastle have 4 top-6 sides to play, plus West Brom are adrift. Trouble is: when was this kind of thing ever completely predictable and might Arsenal collapse (they play 5 relegation candidates)?
