As Willo and others pointed out he would be stupid not to ask the question, "what do we do if?", but his remarks didn't exactly sound as if they were likely to motivate, encourage or fire up the players for the run in, did they? I totally understand that Parish’s comments have been reported out of context, as he clearly states that this is just contingency. I do however find that by broaching this topic he is completely irresponsible, because the headline splashed all over the media today is Palace preparing for the championship with the inference that we have handed in the towel. I bet our lovely rivals are laughing their collective arses off. We could could have done without this headline at this stage of the fixture run in. Always look on the bright side of life
