I bet a quality toy shop in the new Westfield survives. It can be done, but if the marketing and the board are lazy then retailers will die.

I had a little stint in my life of buying clothes online and more often than not they did not look like the picture when they arrived, you can't feel the quality and never fit. It became a complete pain in the arse returning stuff so I vowed never again

It's much easier returning now. Labels are provided and so are very local places to return them to. Either a local petrol station, Londis or post office. Lots of people order 2 sizes of things now. It might end up causing prices to go up a little but will still be cheaper and more convenient than driving and parking or public transport.

Any big shops that don't do click and collect are asking to go under imo.

I had similar experiences but then stuck to quality brands.

It is the same as in a store without all the hassle and expense.

Tandy was s***e compared with Maplin. There was a Tandy in Catford ISTR wasn't there not? I couldn't really see the point of anything they had there.
