Talk about glass half empty. Sounds like your glass is not only half empty but filled with pi$$ too!

So he drinks Bud lite then?

Hopefully not, he's terrible. Championship quality.

You were not looking at the same player I was at the end of 15-16 .

And we still need a striker

Of course not his career is Premier League with us and international for Senegal.

When you think he cost around 2 millions that would be 20 plus now if you could find anyone.

Nothing on the official site to suggest he is anything but first team squad member available for selection.

Hope he is and all is well.

Think that's probably optimistic these days.

Its time to drop Benteke I think.

Agree ... let him sit on the bench to keep it warm or put him in goal for this one as it won't make any difference. For sure, he is unlikely to make any impact playing up front.

He's no where near the same player as back then now, the accident has knocked everything out of him as he was a player who seemed to thrive on adrenaline and now has none. He'd be playing if he was still good enough I'm afraid.

Your bang on with that post pal.
Benteke does need dropping but it's either play 5 midfield and Sorloth on his own.or carry on with Benteke and Sorloth till wilf is back and then drop Benteke.
Then Wilf and Sorloth i think it would workout really good with the winnable matches coming up.
£120,000 a week is to much when you can't even make any contribution what so ever to win any match coming up and it's these matches what's going to either keep us up or send us down.

feel its time Benteke was dropped to bench, so low on confidence with so many lost chances, needs a jolt to earn his place. would play Shclupp on left with Sorloth in centre

Tend to agree if PVA and Schlupp can play. Seen Hennessey try to improve his command in the box recently, clearly a deficiency worked in training. Tekkers needs this type of treatment as well in terms of pressurising and bullying defenders to get the ball and powering forwards, like Lukaku. Looking at the goal he scored against us for Villa at Selhurst he is more than capable of doing this. Nearly 2 seasons on and we haven't seen this in his play. This isn't the only issue but may show the relationship in training methods.

Given Ou current position - and next two games - reckon we should play the best available team in a 4 5 1 formation with CB on bench.

Might go over the heads of the youngsters. Good band though. Saw them at the Crystal Palace Bowl in 1980 on the same bill as Bob Marley, Joe Jackson and the Q Tips (before Paul Young left them to go solo).

I went to that. Didn't remember the bill other than Bob though.

Bonkers to drop Benteke. I know he is not playing well but we have little enough upfront as it.
