Lets hope one of the top 5 companies on the planet, who currently sponsor nothing change their tune when they hear they can call the ground that houses the best fans in the world after them.
Im talking about Apple, Alphabet (Google), Microsoft, Amazon, or lower down the league in 8th Facebook.
Any of that lot could pay for the new stand with pocket change and get a massive win from us lot. We could even offer to sing them a song which they could post globally.
Social media needs to start supporting things as do Amazon and many others.

The Pukka Pie Stadium has a nice ring to it. I can still see Hoppo missing the goal by miles and smashing into the Pukka Pies hoarding every week.

Free pie for all supporters each week and I'll sign up for it.

Why?

They are already some of the biggest companies in the world. I don't think sponsoring a stadium in SE25 is going to offer them very much.

Employee of the month is a good example of how someone can be both a winner and a loser at the same time.

I used to call Arsenal’s ground Highbury , now I’d say “I’m going Arsenal away”, never the Emirates . Same as Man City , surely only a c*nt would say he’s going to the etihad arena.
Although as has already been said it’s what the media call it that matters marketing wise.
The Kit kat crescent ? What a f*cking liberty that was , someone should have been been baseball batted for allowing that to happen.

Being an existing stadium people will always refer to it as Selhurst Park unless they are a media outlet who have been told to do otherwise.

It's different with new stadiums, as they didn't have a name before they were built.

Interesting to see that he is looking at using the building 24/7. I was very sceptical Exeter Cheifs when they built Sandy Park. £8m for a brand new stadium for a national league club seemed bonkers at the time. Now its used 5 days a week as a conference centre, 7 days a week as a David Lloyd's. On match day the stadium is open from about 10am to Midnight with loads of bars for fans. They are now top of the Premiership and have said that without the extra income they would still be no where, and without have been built.

Fray Bentos - flaky seal to prevent leakage, lots of thick gravy in the middle, unexpected eruption on just one side with one fake lump of meat to finish. Perfectly sums up the team.

To be fair, I don't think I ever say the name of the stadium, just "I'm going to [insert team name] away".
