Interesting report on BBC Sport:

The supercomputer thinks we will finish in 17th on 39 points. 39 points needed to survive. I hope that doesn’t rely on beating W. Brom on the last day of the season. 12 points to go it is then.

It's strange when you read an article like that and how teams that are on 30pts sound like they are a million miles away from us. As has been seen all season, teams get a little run and pull away and then lose five or six on the trot and drop back down. Brighton have got by far the toughest run in, so despite their form I wouldn't put money on them staying up as comfortably as SAM predicts, as their results against the big teams have not been good this season. Again, Newcastle have dug out some results, but they have not looked very good at all in any of the games I've seen this season. West Brom do look too far away from salvation though.

I'll take SAM's prediction though if it means we get to endure another year of anguish in the PL

The Guardian's latest on the relegation scrap. Only one correspondent thinks we'll go down:

The problem with that is the program has all of the 13 clubs maintaining or improving their season's form to date. I don't think that is possible, and the program runs the results of each club in isolation from each other so the points total it provides is moot.

The Guardian and Telegraph's pieces are far better.

If you come to a fork in the road, take it.

This is a with or without Zaha story. I think all our points has been won with him on the pitch. Have him back and we will be save. From a Norwegian point of view I`d love to see Zaha and Sørloth together scoring the goals we need.
